      <image:title>Blog - I Asked for a Sign and Hawaii Answered</image:title>
<image:caption>If you’ve been following my journey, you know that the past few years have been heavy in ways I never expected. So when the opportunity came to take my kids to Hawaii for my birthday, it felt like something I needed, even if I didn’t fully realize just how much. Of course, the trip didn’t start out exactly as planned. My kids and I missed our flight… by two minutes. And since when do they close checked bags that early before takeoff? Because that was definitely news to me. At the time, it felt like the perfect reflection of how life has been lately. Just trying to keep up, slightly out of breath, and missing things by inches. But we made it out the next day, and honestly, that small delay didn’t take away from what the trip ended up becoming.</image:caption>

<image:caption>We met my assistant at the hotel, and from that moment on, everything shifted. She had lived in Oahu a few years ago, so we had our own built-in tour guide. We rented a car and spent a few days exploring the North Shore and different parts of the island. The boys were in the water every chance they got — boogie boarding, swimming, collecting seashells like little treasures they didn’t want to leave behind. Watching them experience that kind of joy — uninterrupted, carefree, fully present — did something to me. It reminded me what it feels like to breathe. There is something about the ocean that always brings me back to myself. I can’t fully explain it, but it feels both grounding and expansive at the same time. Like everything slows down, but also opens up. I took every opportunity I could to sit by the water and just be still. To meditate. To listen. To let everything I’ve been carrying soften, even if just a little.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - I Asked for a Sign and Hawaii Answered</image:title>
<image:caption>It felt healing in a way that wasn’t forced or structured. Just natural. While I was there, I had been reading The Signs by Tara Swart — a book about recognizing signs from the universe and trusting that we are always being guided, even when we don’t fully understand how. At one point during the trip, I decided to ask the universe for a sign. Specifically, I asked to see money — real dollar bills, and lots of them. It felt a little random, but also intentional. Something tangible. Something I couldn’t explain away. Not long after, we were out walking, and one of my twins reached into his pocket and pulled out a dollar bill. He was so excited — like he had just found something valuable and couldn’t wait to spend it. It was small. But it was real. I noticed it.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This trip gave me more than just a birthday celebration. It gave me space to breathe. It gave my kids joy. It gave me reminders that healing doesn’t always come in big, life-changing moments — sometimes it comes in the quiet, in the ocean, in laughter, in small confirmations that you’re not alone. I didn’t realize how much I needed that week until I was in it. And I’m leaving it with a little more peace, a little more faith, and a deeper trust that even in the middle of everything I’m walking through… I am still being guided.</image:caption>

<image:caption>If you’ve been following my journey, you know this season hasn’t just been about cancer. It has also been about surrender. Surrendering the life I thought I would have, surrendering control over timelines, and surrendering the belief that if I did everything “right,” the outcome would feel safe. Walking through a divorce while navigating a stage 4 diagnosis has reshaped my faith in ways I didn’t expect. It’s the kind of faith that shows up in hospital rooms, in hard conversations, and in the quiet moments after the kids go to bed when the weight of everything settles in. Some days my prayers are long and intricate. Other days they’re simply, “God, please carry me.”</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - Coming Back to Life…</image:title>
<image:caption>In the middle of all of this, I’m still a mom. My kids still need stability, love, and reassurance. Life doesn’t pause because you’re grieving. There are still appointments, school schedules, meals to cook, and decisions to make. I’ve learned how to show up for them even when I feel uncertain inside. What I’ve had to learn more slowly is how to show up for myself. When you live in survival mode long enough, you start to believe your own joy can wait. You tell yourself that getting through the day is enough and anything extra is unnecessary. But over time, I’ve realized that tending to my spirit isn’t selfish, it’s essential. I cannot continue pouring into my children if I never allow myself to be refilled.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Recently, I was invited to help my friend Kalee with a photoshoot for her company DAY 1 Fitness. (By the way love her company and their products so much! Truly the best of the best.) On paper, it was simple, hair and makeup, workout sets, and a few hours in front of a camera. But after we finished I was feeling recharged in a way I could never have expected. For a few hours, I wasn’t a patient or a statistic. I wasn’t navigating divorce logistics or thinking about treatment plans. I was just a woman with her bestie having fun, feeling beautiful and being reminded of her power and her worth. Looking in the mirror that day felt different. I didn’t just see exhaustion or resilience, I saw life. I saw a woman who has endured more than she ever expected to and is still standing. That reminder mattered more than I can explain.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I’ve always believed in using the arts as a form of expression. Writing, photography, creativity, they give emotion a safe place to land. When we bury what we feel, it doesn’t disappear; it lingers. Expression allows it to move through us instead of staying trapped inside. That photoshoot became a small but meaningful act of release for me. It didn’t change my diagnosis. It didn’t solve the uncertainty of the future. But it reminded me that joy and grief can exist in the same space. That beauty can still be found in the middle of brokenness. That God is still present, even here. I am still learning how to balance it all, motherhood, treatment, healing, rebuilding. I don’t have everything figured out, and I don’t think I’m meant to. What I do know is that saying yes to moments of connection and creativity has helped me feel alive again, even if just for a few hours. And sometimes, that’s enough!</image:caption>

<image:caption>I’m noticing something more and more. Health isn’t just about going to the doctor when something breaks. We’ve been conditioned to wait — wait for symptoms, wait for lab results, wait for a diagnosis. The strongest, most vibrant people I see aren’t waiting for permission to take ownership of their bodies. There’s a new version of wellness emerging. One that is proactive instead of reactive. One that doesn’t hand health over — it partners with it! It’s investing in longevity before there’s a crisis. Supporting detox pathways before the body is overwhelmed. It’s strengthening natural repair systems before disease has a foothold. Not obsessively. Not fearfully. But fiercely. It’s about removing what burdens the body and amplifying what helps it thrive. If I had never been diagnosed with cancer, this is exactly how I would approach prevention. Not from panic. From power.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - Proactive Protocol</image:title>
<image:caption>1.I Would Prioritize Metabolic Health I believe cancer has a metabolic component. Insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and excess visceral fat are not natural states. They change the internal terrain. They influence signaling, growth factors, and inflammation in ways that matter! After learning what I have, if I didn’t have cancer I would treat metabolic health like it’s foundational, because it is. That would mean: Monitoring my bloodsugar levels and aiming to be between 70-120 (Notice how this is a different range than what conventional medicine would say) Lifting weights consistently Walking daily (incline walking is my favorite) Building and protecting muscle Avoiding constant blood sugar spikes Keeping visceral fat low Muscle is protective Stable insulin is protective Metabolic flexibility is protective</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - Proactive Protocol</image:title>
<image:caption>2.Microdosing For me personally, micro-dosing GLP medication has been a game changer. I take a weekly/bi-weekly microdose (depending how I’m feeling) to support insulin stability and appetite regulation without the constant mental battle that comes with restrictive dieting. Also the anti-inflammatory benefits are incredible. I bet microdosing this peptide will continue to become mainstream medicine. For two years, I used tirzepatide at a low weekly dose and responded very well. Recently, I’ve transitioned to retatrutide and am carefully monitoring how my body responds. (This one builds muscle instead of deteriorating it like other glp-1s) This isn’t about chasing thinness. It’s about reducing one of the most modifiable cancer risk factors we have. It’s about creating an internal environment that is less favorable to uncontrolled growth. And if I had never been diagnosed, this is still something I would look into and seriously consider for my overall health.</image:caption>

<image:caption>3. Ivermectin (Quarterly Protocol) I would take 25mg of ivermectin for 5 days on, 2 days off, for two weeks—once every quarter. So it looks like this: Monday through Friday you would take one pill (25mg). Take Saturday and Sunday off. Then take one pill (25mg) again Monday through Friday and then I would let my body fully rest for the next three months. Why Ivermectin? It has two very important properties. First, it’s been studied for its potential role in encouraging apoptosis, the body’s built-in way of clearing out unhealthy cells. Second, it supports the body in clearing parasitic burden, and some emerging theories suggest that chronic infections may subtly shape an internal terrain where cancer can thrive! Basically it kill’s the parasites AND the pathways of cancer cell growth. Along with the ivermectin, an essential part of this protocol is taking fats with the ivermectin that acts as carriers and slows down the medication to make sure it doesn't go through your body so fast and actually does it’s job. I use Olive Oil and this CBG Tincture I found that I love! You can use code CARLI10 for 10% off your order!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Mitochondrial Support - Methylene Blue (During treatment I was put on an anti-depressant to help with the emotional load. You cannot combine the two so I haven’t been able to take this) If I didn’t have cancer and was focused purely on prevention, I would take mitochondrial health very seriously. Mitochondria are the energy factories inside our cells. They regulate how we produce energy, respond to stress, and control cellular signaling. The metabolic theory of cancer centers heavily around mitochondrial dysfunction. Which means protecting and optimizing them is foundational. One compound that particularly intrigues me is methylene blue. It’s been around for over a century, originally used as a dye and antimalarial, but more recently it’s been studied for its potential effects on mitochondrial efficiency, cellular respiration, and oxidative stress! If I were in prevention mode, methylene blue is something I would research deeply, because supporting mitochondrial function makes biological sense to me! That said I also believe that no compound replaces the basics. Deep sleep, morning sunlight, strength training, stable blood sugar and stress regulation. These are all mitochondrial medicine too. If I had the gift of prevention, I would build a strong metabolic foundation first — and then, if appropriate, layer in tools like methylene blue thoughtfully and intentionally. Prevention isn’t about chasing hacks, It’s about strengthening the terrain!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - Proactive Protocol - The Bigger Picture</image:title>
<image:caption>If I didn’t have cancer, prevention wouldn’t be about control. It would be about stacking the odds — gently, consistently, over time. It would mean keeping insulin stable and building strong muscle. Creating rhythms that allow for cellular cleanup. Supporting healthy mitochondria. Lowering inflammation wherever I reasonably could. Reducing toxic burden without becoming consumed by it. Layer by layer. And then after doing what is wise and sustainable — I would live! laugh loudly, travel, enjoy the little moments. I would love my people fiercely, and I would trust God with the rest. If I had the gift of prevention, I would use it. Not from fear, but from intention. And at the end of the day, I would rest peacefully knowing I had done what I reasonably could.</image:caption>

Letrozole. Everything they told me would save my life. It nearly broke me. My family and I survived it—but “surviving” came at a cost. Systemic therapy took a massive toll on my body, my mind, and my spirit. I tried to heal, to rebuild, to feel like myself again, but the long-term preventative medication plan felt unbearable. Eventually, I made the difficult decision to step away. Not because I gave up—but because I was exhausted.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Alongside these decisions, something unexpected happened. Through research, conversations, and what felt like divine timing, I came across a protocol I felt called to try. The way it entered my life felt guided—through synchronicities, chance encounters, and moments that felt bigger than coincidence. I now call it the “Ivy League Protocol.” Not because it’s prestigious—but because mentioning its real components tends to get content flagged online. This protocol wasn’t something I followed blindly. It came from deep reading, careful experimentation, and conversations with other cancer patients who had experienced outcomes no one expected. I don’t claim to be an expert. I’m just a mom sharing her story—someone who reached a point where traditional medicine had no more answers for me.</image:caption>

<image:caption>GLP-1 (Weekly Microdose) Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Once a week, I take a microdose injection of a GLP medication. Insulin resistance and obesity are two of the strongest risk factors for cancer. If you believe, as I do, that cancer has a significant metabolic component, then maintaining stable insulin levels and a healthy weight isn’t just general wellness advice—it’s a meaningful part of prevention. The GLP helps me maintain metabolic health without the constant white-knuckling that so often comes with traditional dieting. For two years, I used a 10-unit weekly microdose of tirzepatide, which worked very well for me. In the past three months, I’ve transitioned to retatrutide and am continuing to monitor how my body responds.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - My “IVY League” Protocol - Finding Fenbendazole by Roger Rasmussen</image:title>
<image:caption>I miraculously got connected to Roger about a week after I had found the protocol. It's truly a miracle I got to talk to him. He got a clean PET scan from doing this protocol and researched a ton to make sure he was doing it right. Without him I wouldn't have added the necessary fat and “carriers” or done the correct dosage.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - My secret to healthy skin (shhh!)</image:title>
<image:caption>If you know me, you know I’m a researcher. I don’t put anything on my skin (or in my body) without making sure it’s truly serving me. My esthetician is the one who originally recommended this routine. It’s cleaner than anything I’ve ever used—and it works better than anything I’ve tried before. I’ve seen a complete transformation in my skin, and others have noticed a difference as well.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - My secret to healthy skin (shhh!)</image:title>
<image:caption>My recommendation? Go for the Full Essentials Set It lasts much longer and is more worth your time. It’s replaced what I used to use at my injectors office and I use way less botox because my skin looks so healthy and firm. You'll notice a difference even after one use I swear it. But if you want to try my own routine, Here are My Favs! This kit is the ultimate "cheat sheet" for great skin. I love that it packs all my must-haves into one bag so you can actually see the results. It's everything I use daily! I’m only ever going to share what I genuinely love with you guys—and this is a huge win.</image:caption>
